Maktabi officially launched in January 2019 with 6 Workspaces. Fast forward a year and a half, and we’ve doubled in size to have a total of 12 Workspaces! We opened this space as a passion project, with the aim to give creatives private offices that would take care of their needs, along with an extra dose of inspiration. We quickly discovered that our passion project is a necessity for the industry. So, we teamed up with Shahd Osman, Orient Productions’ go-to freelance designer, and Ahmed Ashmawy, the design and construction extraordinaire, to renovate the apartment in front of ours.
