Mahmoud Othman received a Bachelor of Law degree from Cairo University in 2007. He currently occupies many legal roles ranging from consultancy to researching.

Since 2013, Mahmoud has dedicated his time to thoroughly study and analyze the legal framework governing the entertainment industry and art production, making him the legal advisor for a number of artists, media/art production companies and even some national and foreign cultural centers.

Mahmoud has also played a vital role in several prominent controversial art related cases where he achieved remarkable legal victories

Mahmoud Othman, also founded of “Othman Media Law,” and has specialized in the entertainment industry. He works with rap artists, music production companies, film and drama production companies, as well as collaborating with local and international cultural centers such as the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) and the Goethe-Institut.

Mahmoud has delivered lectures at Egyptian and American universities and works as a specialized art law consultant for production companies and Arab government ministries.

Mahmoud was honored by the Ministry of Culture, and is a legal researcher working with the ILO.
